Hello there! I'm Carl (with my lovely wife, Joan)
We know starting from scratch isn’t easy, and I’m honestly just super grateful that my wife is right here supporting the dream with me. So yep — we’re officially a husband-and-wife team!
I’m Carl — the main photographer/videographer. I’m the guy who loves all the techy stuff, the editing, and making sure everything looks "just right". I’m a bit of a perfectionist (I’ll tweak a project until it feels perfect). I love the outdoors, a good cup of coffee in the morning, cooking, basketball with my boys and those summer road trips with my wife and our kids.
My wife, Joan, is the creative brain who always has fresh ideas when it comes to photos and videos. She also handles all the admin stuff (bless her!), bakes amazing cakes and breads, and is a makeup artist too!

How it all started...
I’ve been fascinated taking photographs since my uni days, where it all began… in that tiny darkroom where we fell in love with the process of taking and developing photos (yep, back when we were still using film cameras!).
It all kicked off when my best mate Jon suggested we turn our little hobby into something bigger after we graduated. Shooting weddings together was such a blast, and we learned so much along the way. Life eventually took us in different directions as we focused on our families, and we had to hit pause.
But after moving to New Zealand, I realised how much I truly missed it. So my wife and I decided to bring the brand back to life — and now we get to capture the moments that matter most, from birthdays and engagements to portraits, elopements, and full wedding days.
Love looks different on everyone, and that’s the beauty we try to capture.
